..One funny thing I found is that PIII cars cannot run at all if the coolant temp sensor is disconnected.
Funny that, as the motronic is supposed to have a replacement value to help you get home.
Maybe ASH can help us with this one...

I'm not running a phase kit now mate, too many flaws, no support, clueless dealers, etc etc...

If I am (forced!) to rebuild the LET, then I'll go programmable no doubt. Something in the 500bhp region, easily doable on a 2.0 if you know a couple of thingc.
But if nothing goes wrong, the engine stays in the bay
If it ain't broke, brake it (ooops, wrong, I meant don't fix it!)

If i could, i would help to give you an answer but my knowledge about this kind of matter has just enterd my brain a jear ago.

Before that i only worked on motorcycles and that's all atmospheric and carburation (three years ago).

But i'm working on it :lol:

I've had a stock turbo bike back in 1988 and made another one in 1991

There are a few turbo busas flying about, too. That's typically 250 - 300 bhp on a bike. Not bad.

Yes i know, but here in Belgium i did never meet someone with a haya turbo or that kind of things.

But i thought you did put a turbo on yourself!!

How, can i tell it. Don't get this the wrong way, but if we talk about that kind of things here, then it's always like:

Yeah, that crazy English people can put a 3.0 twinturbo into a mini.

Those things are quite rare around here, because it cost's a lot of money, and people are scared of the government.

There are kits mate.
Mr Turbo, Hahn Racecraft, etc...
They do take some effort to fit and optimise, but the extra power you can get is massive.

Another funny thing is, that our cars keep running, when you disconnect the coolant temperature sensor. :lol:
So who is wrong?

If so, are there different versions of it or what?

(not that it matters now anyway, the customer service is so bad that it beggars belief - at least in the UK)
