phase 3.5 kit...12psi !!!!

Hello all,

I have a full 3.5 kit on my nova (corsa a) and I can not get it to boost over 12psi, I have tried the 4 settings on the power wheel and tried winding up the actuator and it doesn't make any differance!
Iv also fitted a uprated actuator from regal to match the kit!

Could it be the wastegate and if so why doesn't the powerwheel make any differance to the power and boost?

Hello.

Could it be your Wastegateseat thats is not okay.Maby you could chek it to be sure...Are the plasticpipes ( Actuator/boostvalve/blowoff and so on)for the boostcontrol connectet correctly?
0.82 Bar Boost is realy not much..

When I installt my powerwheel it dit not work too. Ist was one of the pins ( 1 of 3 ) in the round Connector for the powerwheel (not on the backside on the PW) who hat no contact. One of them where pushed back.

Sorry for my bad English..I did newer pay attension in the lessions.. :evil: :lol:

I have checked the pipes on all the conections and I have even tryed another amill valve but carn't find problem! maybe it is the wastgate!
If I should change the turbo which one should i get? I want to run around 20-22psi, Im going to buy steel rods and oistons but not sure which turbo.

Hello, You could bye the EDS K26 or the Vmax K26,5/24. Schould be good for about 400 hp 8)

Are yor sure that the plasticpipes are placed correct on the Solenoid boostvalve? Ist the solenoid valve "klikking" when you turn the powerwheel from pos 1 and up..? Hmm, maby it ist your wastegateseat..

If you disconnect the pipe from the actuator so that the waste gate is held closed, and drive it very carefully whilst watching the boost gauge you'll soon see if your turbo can make more than the boost your currently getting. It should easily make 1.5 bar if its healthy, if you can do that your wastegate cant be too bad.

What overboost do you get?
