Opel Badge

Hello all,

i am after an opel badge for my 1994 opel vectra A turbo. i have managed to get most of them from my vauxhall garage but the boot lip spoiler round badge is difficult to find.

Could anyone help me?

Oh well will keep looking, am going to have another even thorough look through the EPC program :roll:

Well, I like the Holden Lion and the steering wheel wears the only visible Opel logo on my car. All other badges were exchanged. So I'm l still looking for a Holden steering wheel. But, honestly said, I don't expect to find one here in Europe and exchanging it with some one down under, is not so easy.

Ok, which badge do you need ?

With a little bit of luck ... who knows ... , may be I can get one here in the surrounding !

Can you not special order the steering wheel from opel? i think it would be expensive but possible. do you have an air bag?

the badge i am after is the round badge (silver opel sign with black infill) that fits in the centre of the 1994 opel vectra A turbo boot lid spoiler.

Yeah, may be some time in the future I give up and order a Holden steering wheel. But not now ! And yes, its one with an airbag.

I need to know the badges diameter, cause Opel used, as far as I know, two different versions with different diameters ! Some Holden and Vauxhall badges have a black infill, but I have never seen such an infill with vectra/calibras on Opel badges !

Hi Joe,

have just measured the badge its 60mm diameter. It is the same size as the badge on the rear spoiler of my mums 1995 vectra A Sri 16v (dont know if they were Sri's in Europe?)

The early vectra A opel bonnet badges had black infill. My front grill opel badge is just a silver badge with gaps. I presumed that the rear would be black infill as it sits in a circular recess in the spoiler designed for the badge.

which car do you drive? i thought i would try and see if i could get a price for a holden steering wheel from the UK (yes i know we have expensive prices over here :roll: )

I was on a scrap place and have found two candidates for you. If you give me your email address, I will send you a picture of the badge, dimensions included. I also have got an Opel signature badge (black & chrome 115mm long, 23mm high) Are you interested ?

Thanks mate for the offer of checking the price for a Holden steering wheel. I guess/hope that I only need the front plate/cover with the Holden logo on it. I drive a 1995 Calibra Turbo.

my e-mail address is [email protected]. I have "OPEL", "VECTRA" badges from the vectra B along with "KOMPRESSOR" on my bootlid at the moment so i dont need the signature badge - thanks.

I think the airbag cover with the logo is all part of the steering wheel but i guess you must be able to just get a new cover in case the airbag goes off? i will check tonite.
