F28 second gear loss

Hi,

yesterday i broken my F28 second gear, and when i want to shift the noise is kkrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, i can shift second only in 3000rpm. I think my problem is second gear sync, and i want to ask you can i use synchronizator of any other gearbox (F20,F18,....or other no Opel gearbox). If i can't can you tell me what is price to new second gear sync ?

sorry for the bad news, but you can't use any other GM synchro rings and you need a hydraulic press which should be able to deliver a minimum of 15 tons of pressure to exchange the 1. and 2. gear rings. Using heat or any other methods will end up with a bent or otherwise damaged gear axis !!!
