Hi There,

Very annoying problem isn't is...

But hey...there is a very simple solution :

When you installed the F-28 gearbox in your Astra...you probably also used the F-28 gear lever didn't you...with the nice 6 speed indication on the gear knob...

Well that's your problem...the White plastic part at the bottom of the lever of the F-28 model is slightly (about 0,5 mm) thicker than the standard 5-speed lever. This makes it very hard to put the lever in reverse or in sixth gear.

Just exchange the lever (you can use the one of a F-20) and it's fixed.

(PS: You can mount the six speed part of the F-28 lever onto the F-20 lever to keep that cool knob )
