Exhaust Gas Temperatures

I understand from ASH, that with the phase kits it shouldn't go over 800° If you want to constantly monitor the temperature, where on the exhaust system is the best place to put the sensor?

As close to the turbo as possible. Near the lambda probe would probably be best.

I´ve put my sensor directly after the lambdasensor into the exhaustpipe in an angle of 45° to the flow. Temperatures are always between 650-730°C on full load.

To place the sensor before the turbo isn´t that good, because the heat damages the sensor, so you have to change it very often. I drive a P4 in my Corsa...

The other point you mention about putting it before the turbo is also bad as it can break up and then enter the turine
