Yeah! Erste Vectra Turbo RWD?

Hallo alle Leute!

In Norwegen haben wir das erste Vectra Turbo 4x4 nach RWD Umbauen.
Es ist NICHT meine Auto, in meine signature ist eine anderes Vectra rwd, es ist nicht fertig bauen.

Das Auto ist ein original Vectra Turbo 4x4 von 1993.
Von original bis RWD war die Zeit nur 14 Tage!
Das Motor habe eine Mitsubishi turbo, Electromotive Tec3 motronic, ARP bolts und Kopfdichtung von Z20LET. Getriebe ist Getrag 265 von Senator A 3.0. Manifold ist eigenbau. ABS habe das Auto nicht mehr.
HA ist eine mix von Vectra Turbo und Omega 3000 24v. Bremsanlage VA original und HA von Omega 3000 24v.

Entschuldigung für das Finish in die Motorhaube, aber 14 Tage können man nicht an Finsh denke!

Ich kann leider nicht mehr Deutsch, alle frage muss in English stellen, dann könne ich antworten.

What Power/Torque does this motor produce? The Turbo doesnt look original anymore

When this Motor is adjusted and mapped correctly it will produce about REAL/ECHTE 350hp. The turbo pressure is stable at 1,4 bar. On 0,8 bar he drives faster then EDS ph3,5 cars. That explain a lot I think...

Thats wonderful and I think that now a lot of persons wana do the same. What was your biggest problem??? How did you make it with the Engineholder (???=Motorhalter)??? How fast you get now on 100 km/h???

Um unter das originale Lenkgetriebe drunter kommen zu können ist entweder die Getriebeglocke recht kurz oder Motor&Getriebe sind sehr tief montiert ! ( Was man auch sieht ! )

Engineholders and much of the front is homemade. Must cut in the floor to make room for the gearbox. Most parts for doing this project is homemade. You can't buy Umbauteile in a shop

0-100 we don't know yet. We don't want to test before it has been adjusted and mapped properly.

At 0,57 bar in pressure it had 9,4 with a very bad start on the 201m. But then he had maybe only about 200hp, the engine is good for around 350.
When the car is finished he has no problem getting 8,0 on the 201m.

The weight of the car we don't know. Can't make everything in 14 days
He had to get on a Opel-meeting and hadn't no time to put on the front bumper and other "unnecessary" parts

Wie er ja schon geschrieben hat, wurde wohl vieles selber gemacht und/oder halt Sacvhen benutzt, die nich so teuer sind. Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass wenn Jemand ein bisschen Ahnung hat und selber ne Hebebühne, dann sollte man mit 5000 Euro hinkommen, vorrausgesetzt, dass man schon einen Motor hat. Im Preis wären dann aber auch schon die TÜV-Gebühren mit dabei, die, wie ich denke, so um die 2000 Euro betragen dürften.

Mitsubishi TD04HL-16T.

The Electromotive Tec3 is a complete engine managment system that includes new motronic (that we program with a Windows-program), wire harness (to fit on the original harness), sensors and a new "Verteilerkappe(?)". If the Verteilerkappe is the thing that the wires for the sparks are connected to. With a Electromotive we have full control of the engine and can adjust and map it exaclty like we want with a easy-to-use interface with normal Windows program from Electromotive inc. On a Vectra Turbo the original motronic is then not necessary. I was planning to use Electromotive also on my Astra Coupe 2.2, then the solution is to take of the sensors and harness of only the engine and run this on the Electromotive. In this car I have Bordcomputer, Cruise, ABS-system and everything that also "speaks" with the motronic so I must use both. Electromotive for the engine, original motronic for all the rest electronics in my car.

If you need more info, please ask and I will try to answer you The owner is a friend of mine so I don't know everything, but most things I know. The car in my signature is a complete other car. Don't mind that.

The price of this project I don't know. If you have a original Vectra/Calibra Turbo and want to make the conversion with same setup you must calculate at least 8000 euro. Only the Electromotive cost 2500 euro. Much of the parts are made by the owners brother that makes everything with metal. It depends if you have friends with the same resources. Also it depends how much you must pay for the used parts that are necessary. Also it is a lot of work and a lot of thinking. 14 days in building was when 2-4 persons worked 24h on the car. A normal time to use on a project like this will be 2-3 months...

A question from me to you german. Is it possible to TUV-approve this??
I see that TurboOmega says something about this, but my deutsch is not very good.

Thats the biggest problem here in Germany, the TÜV. That's a departement to control the cars and also the tuning. From all the stuff, that isn't original, you have to get a report and this cost a lot of money. Than you must have big brakes, your exhaust must be quite and maybe they will test your emission. So, before you get all this stuff, you must have a big credit. I hope this was your question!?!
