Phase 4 Oil Spray

I think this subject has been covered before, but anyway. For personal reasons I won't use the EDS "partner" in England to modify my block for the oil spray bar to be fitted, so, I have a couple of questions.

Is it something I can get another tuning company such as V-Tuning or SBD to fit it? as I see you can buy it separately. Or, not use it at all and have say ceramic coated pistons and water injection as I assume the only reason for fitting the oil spray bar is for cooling (sorry to everyone who alread knows this, I am renowned for not reading everything properly :roll: )

hi,

it's not a oil spray bar that is fitted on the engine, it's the engine that needs to be modified (internally) they have to drill the spraynossles so it needs to be done by someone with the skill and the machinery

Does anyone know where the oil is 'sprayed' once these modifications are made?

So how is the block modified?

May do it myself with a bit of R&D using a cosworth oil spray bar.

Yunis, for the incredibly thick, I take it's the white looking 'dot' that I'm looking at?
