Hello all.
I'm building an 20XE with throttle bodies, 88mm Omega pistons, cams, etc and 100bhp of nitrous.
I have been building this engine to a very good specification to make sure it can take the 330bhp that will be produced.
My question is that for the Phase 4 for the LET you fit oil spray bars. Do you think that this would be good for my xe? I know pistons don't really need cooling but this maybe good when the NOZ is running. Also making sure there is lots of oil at the small ends must be a good idea?
I understand Regal do oil spray bars in the UK for the EDS phase 4. They tap jets in to the block, not spay bars. These jets open at 3.5bar. The oil is fed to them through the main bearing shells. Ash is this how you do it in Germany? Don't you risk oil starvation/reduced pressure to the crank under high revs?
Thank you for any information.
