Hi Dennis !

Your Alarm setting is depending on the sensor position !

Whitch positioin do you selected for the sensor ?

At almost the same place as the lambda sensor..
I am using an 002 Bosch wide band sensor, but in the manual i read that the best position is vertical ??? so do i have to move it downwards ??

The mounting of the lambdasensor should be in a position, were no water can get into the sensor.

When you mount the temperature sensor next to the lambdasensor, everything under 850°C is ok for the turbo.

Maybe you can give some advice. My k16 is worn out. Now i'm thinking of replacing it with the K26 from EDS.

Can you recommend it? Or should i stick to the K16?
.

Let with phase 3 on it.
I have put a post on the forum, but no reply's on this subject.

In Billing I saw that most of the running turbos have still the original exhaustmanifold with worn out wastegateflange.
Then the car often feels weak, but the turbo is still alive. I think most of them only need an exhaustmanifold in exchange. You can check this by removing the exhaustpipe from the turbo. Just have a look onto the wastegate!!!

Hi, did that allready 3 weeks ago. Result : Crack in waste-gate seat. Then I removed the turbo from the manifold and it begins to leak oil inside.

:evil: Thats why i'm going for the compleet overtake of the turbo.
I also ask'd if the steel waste-gate seat is included, if i should go for the k26(EDS). No answer.
So I need to change it anyhow, thats why i'm asking if I should go for the k26 or stick to the k16.

Hi !

Its depending what you wanna do with your car !!

The LET-Vectra Caravan Driver with family will take the K16 !

For a car that is only used to be quick , take the K26 , then you get more power !

I put in a restrictor in my a.l.s system, because the temperature was rising too much.. and i needed to much retard.

The rest of the DTA system is running SUPER.
The old motronic doesn't have a compensation for boost levels, it can only run a static level of ignition.

Now i can ron for example 30degrees of ign. at 0 bar and let it drop to 10 degrees at 1 bar.. the result is that the car picks up VERY aggressive..
