[Copied from Z20LET Forum - Astra Coupé Turbo]
Hi All,
It seems like my Opel dealer - just as I feared - has no clue what he is doing. After replacing my defective turbo charger with a new from EDS, the engine does not run correctly - and it has nothing to do with the turbo or software, as far I can tell
The test computer reports "Ignition error on cylinder 3". I got very good online support from EDS on the problem, but changing the spark plugs didn't help. Also, sadly enough, erasing Arno's PhaseIII software from the ECU didn't help either
So now I have standard software and a car that doesn't run, and a month wasted waiting - And what does Opel say ?: They don't know what to do about it !!!
I'm asking for your help to find out what could be wrong; Could it be the DIS-module ? (was OK before the turbo replacement). Can they have damaged the ignition cables ?. Can they have damaged something else ?.
Thanks,
Morten
