EDS / REGAL new power cam

Hi EDS, Hi guys,

Ordered a few days ago the new POWER CAM from Regal.

Didn't order it from EDS because it's not listed on the EDS website...

What's the specifications of this new CAM?

Should I replace the hydraulic tappets also?

EDS and REGAL are Partners and Friends and NO competitors !

I dont care who from us sells the cam to you ... i only care thats our cam !

The Profile is absolutely fit for your Z20LET engine with standart exhaust cam , theres no need for special adjustments , yust replace the original inlet cam , thats it !

the Software must be set up for this cam , so send us your ECU and we do the work for you !

I thought you didn't think cams were a good thing, because it loose on the lower/mid rpm or did this only account to the C20LET?

Hi !

The problem was , that no CAM-combination that i have tested in the last 5 years , had any really positive effect on the power increase at high revs WITHOUT a massive loss of power and torque at low revs !

The problem is , that all cams we reprofiled from NA-cams or XE tuning cams with adjustable timing wheels !

We ( Chris Regal and myself ) had again a stupid party idea in 2004 ( we were thinking at this moment ) and we made a drowing on a piece of paper , how an INLET-cam for a turbo application should look like to increase the power massive at high revs , WITHOUT loosing power at low revs and having a good low idle behavior .

The problem was , that NO company has CAM blanks on stock to profile this new cam , so they had to make special new blanks at first and then go on testing .

Thats the history , and the cam is working WELL !
