What kind of chip? Problems..

I got a Chipped Calibra i think it´s Lotec. I opened the box and on the 1. Chip it stod Phase 2 1.10bar and on the other 7100u/min... is it Lotec?

And the sensor looks to be original, but i sometime load 1.5bar in overboost, why?

when i drive the car hard, it the pressure rises and drops, and rise. But it got better when i changed the "gap" on the sparkpluggs, From 1.1-0.7mm. what is the problem?

If the chip works in the same way as the EDS chips do you will see obverboost of 1.5bar and it will then back down to read 1.1 holding pressure. This is fine and will rev to a limiter of 7100.

If your boost is fluctuating at the holding pressure its best to check the following :-

* There are no air leaks in the vacume pipes
* The actuator is strong enough and is in good working order
* The vacume pipe from ammal valve to crankcase breather is not blocked

Note : - If you are running standard C20LET intercooler your boost will vary slightly due to weather conditions.

Ok thanks for your help. But what is the acutator? is it in the waste gate?

And i Have a bigger IC..

gone change the Rotor to night. I think it could be somthing with the spark.

I bought an eprom programmer some time ago to try to program 16v engines for a rally team that where using 120octane fuel.
I can edit some small things now.. (rev limiter etc.) But what i really don't understand is that Bosch never gave support for NO ONE ! To edit the ECU's

If you have a look inside the eprom you can see (in graphical-hex mode) some lines and at some places i could edit.. but i didn't now what was what !! TERRIBLE JOB.. after 2 years i still don't understand what is what

When i heard that the c20let had 2 chips i even didn't start trying to edit them... so it's a hell of a job to do it right !

I wonder how Arno found out everything... expirimented for 12 years or something ???
