Hi!

Can some of you people help me out a second here?
I'm not good in the German language and cannot understand most of
what is discussed here.
But rumours that I've got from elsewhere says that Gema Motorsport have a
new 4x4 box for the Calibra.
Is this true?
Is it better than the uprated Dorfbrunnen Garage boxes?
How much does it cost?
Have anyone tested this box? , it's reliable?

hye,
we made a lot of tests in the last 2 years with the gema rvg box.
my mind : it is the very best 4x4 box you can ever get!! the best is you phone to gema ms or send pm. i dont know the ofizial market prise,so ask gema. at least gema has a sport vg version. it is the same as the racing vg but without elektronik.
today hobbes made a gema vg test drive. his mind : absolutly top!

Yes, today I had the chance to test the RVG by GEMA Motorsport.
It's really unbelivable. You can adjust what kind of setup you like to drive.
50/50, 60/40, 70/30 or only AWD. What you have to do is bring your 4x4 to GEMA and he will built his system into your own 4x4box and will adjuyt it to your car. Another system will follow, DSOP said it before, a SVG. In this version you get an pre-adjusted 4x4box without an selecting option. This is the cheaper version.

But data facts are one point, so it might be better you test it first, some guys don't belive the performance of this system until they tested it themself.

From my opinion it is one of the most efficence 4x4 systems in the base enviroment of the Opel Calibra or Vectra/Cavalier model.

But what tourqe(NM)/bhp figures can this transfer box handle?
In other words , how much can you tune before this box goes bye-bye??
And what is the main differences between this box and the "racing" box that
dorfbrunnen garage deliver??
A price of 3000 euros was mentioned for the Gema RVG transfer box , am I right?
What is the price for the dorfbrunnen garage racing box? anyone knows?

The price of the Hürlimann VG depends on what you like, street or racing. You get a price list on www.dorfbrunnen-garage.ch.

Maximum torque you can handle with both systems is about 400Nm and more. GEMA and Hürlimann will built their systems especially for your specified torquedata.

But for those special informations you will better ask Hürlimann or GEMA.
I know they both do a good job.

What is the price for the dorfbrunnen garage racing box? anyone knows?

I drive the racing box from Hürlimanns. The price for the box is 3500€ plus installing of the box and cooling pump and cooling system. So the price depends on working time. the maximum price is 5000€ but i was way below it. So just call the Dorfbrunnengarage and they will let you know the prices. I`m very happy with the box.
