Question for all the UK guys

Hi,

I live now on the Isle of Man and I think about to register my car there. At the moment my car is registered in Germany.

I want to register my car on the IOM to avoid the TüV. On the island they are much more liberal with modified cars.

Can someone tell me what I have to pay for insurance and tax? I know that there are special insurers who insure modified cars but there are so many. Any recommendations????

It's a Opel Corsa B with an C20XE engine. I'm 27 and I don't have any convictions.

Hi Thomas.. in the uk the road tax is £88 for 6 months or £160 for 12 months....

Insurance there's quite a few to choose from..
