Phase 4 Mk2 Astra

Here's some pics of the EDS Phase 4 engine going into my Astra.

As you can see I'm still using the standard intercooler whilst the
running-in is in process.
The engine started perfectly on the first turn of the key and after
a bit of play with the gear linkange all 6 forward gears engage
without problems. Reverse feels a bit tricky but not sure if this
is normal with the conversion ??? Obviously there's a
way to go before 370 brake goes through the front wheels but
the worst of it is now over!

The car was taken to the bodyshop yesterday for some additional
changes. It's having a multi-multi-multi-flip paint job and generally
smoothed all round. Also having a bit of a hole cut in the front for the intercooler. I'll put newer pics up as soon as it's done.
Here's what it looked like before the changes:

Franck I have an EDS 9L intercooler to go on but the car is being run-in
gently for 500 miles so there is no need for it yet. Can not wait until full
power though

Me also , I have intercoller EDS in my Astra MK2

You will run to santo pod after?

Thanks Franck, the picture is really useful as mine is being fitted today. I
will show the picture to my bodyshop so they know what they need to do. 8)

I'll definately have a go up the pod but I'm not 2 sure what to expect. It has a quaife LSD to help it along a bit but I'm not sure how much power
I'll get onto the road :lol:
