Phase 3,5

Today my EDS phase 3,5 arrived, and i directly installed it on my c20let-kadett.. i couldn't wait any longer

After installing i went for a drive... Euuhhh FLY
Amazing to have the weels spinning in 5th gear on a nearly dry road

I took a look to the boost-gauge and it told me : 1,6/1,7 bar overboost (sometimes) and 1,2bar drive-pressure.
I installed the wastegate-feather as follow :

1. adjust original wastegate that it could only move around 13mm and then i installed the EDS feather with without any force. But i stil got around 1,6+ bar overboost.. what should i do ??

For the rest.... SUPER DRIVING !!!

Hello all !

@GSI Turbo : Are you shure , that your boost gauge showes the correct pressure ? if yes , 1.6 Bar overboost is NO Problem !

Some gauges show wrong pressures in the middel of the range , so that your 1.2 bar could also be 1.25 bar and your original waste gate setting is still too strong !

Please notice : the external spring CAN be used , not MUST be used!

If your original Waste-gate actuator is strong enough , perfect !

I just changed the external spring setting to very low force.
And the original is now adjusted that it could only move around 13mm

I went for a drive .... TAAADAAAAAAAA !!! 1,5 bar MAX overboost 1,2 bar drive-boost

So it should be okay now

The only thing i hate now is that's is raining now i've got my ph3,5

i was told by regal that u need to buy a phase 3 kit and then the 3.5...cant u buy the 3.5 outright? just the electronic kit, minus plugs, IC, feather etc


Just a question Ash, my engine is different to many i spoke to you before and u said u can custom map the chip to my cars configuration..how long would it take? could you send the kit direct to me? or would i have to go through regal?
