Thanks for the comm Acki

No money , no big deal , it takes a lot of efforts , sacrifices and ... time , i f i had the money , this car would be on the streets already since ages ..
i like to learn and get some stuffs done myself when i have the chance , that's the best way of getting at least some satisfaction at some points ( like the cleaning aspect ) it looks like some people get more HP by getting dirtier cars ...

Thanks again , i hope the outcome will be great as well .

Hi there

A few updates

Everything was checking out fine except for some space i lost in the hood by making adjustments on the down pipe
I lost the small available space between the slim fan and the water radiator , i am working on it tonight to get this resolved

Regardless of the choices i have to move around my A/C hoses

Option 1 : Place the small Fan on the Water radiator ( in front of the A/C ) but i am afraid the cooling won't be enough but i will have greater space between the down pipe and the fan , i can add a heat shield also .

Option 2 : Keep the large fan in the back in front of the A/C compressor after moving the A/C hoses , but the larger fan will be closer to the down pipe as well .

Other than this , a few other minor adjustments , i should be ready to start the engine pretty soon .

I picked this for the solenoid ( amalvalve connector)

Really tight space available

I like your pictures with intake and exhaust manifold :D I made them for Stephan.
But your intake pipe to the TC I would change - or is the picture showing it not 100% correct?

There is the inner dia the same from pipe and TC inlet.

Thank you for your comment Acki

All i can say is well done and great job on the parts , i am not sure i get the point and understand what you mean by "intake pipe to the TC" i am a bit confused
can you circle or point the part so i can tell you if it was just a try out to see how it fits , thanks for your feedback .

i had some organization , moving things around to try to gain some space under the hood :

The A/C pipes have been heated with caution to be able to bent them and make some room for the fan

I have a bit more room

A guy on another forum tested the heat wrapping on his Z20LET , and it seems to have reduce the temperature going to the intake manifold , reason i decided to heat wrapped the whole piping , in case it also helps reducing heat .

THis is his test :

He had access to some very expensive device at his work to mesure the heat :

39 degres observed after driving at 120Km/h by 14degres celcius outside temperature .
Then he stopped , parked the car in his garage and opened the hood ( all in 3mns time) heat wrapped 3X the sensor on the intake .

After about a minute , engine running , bonnet closed , the temperature went to 42 degrees celcius

Once this test done , he wrapped up the whole piping
the bandage

dismounting all clamps to gain access

Right pipping side :

Once done , almost dark

Next day ( Same conditions , 120 km/h same road , same external weather and temp conditions ) 3mns parking time a stick the sensor to check :

Same place , same length with 13.5 degree celcius

result

Finally , he dropped about 10 / 11 degree celcius by wrapping and protecting the whole complete pipping .
i will see what it does on mine once finished .

Prior , on my previous set up , i had my Klasen exhaust manifold ceramic threated , it was pretty amasing :

Then later i used the FTT wrap bands to cover the manifold , but i haven't tested it , i sold the GT2871, my new GT30 also and upgraded to the GTX and the new KLasen stuffs .

The pipe looks smaller than the inlet of the tc.
Or is the hose only bigger than on the picture?

Hi Acki
Thanks once again for your feedback

Are you talking about the Hose reducer between the Turbo inlet section and the pipe that goes towards the MAF sensor ?
If yes , i have a Silicon hose joiner that is a Reducer from 90mm( Maf side) to 110mm (turbo side) , i don't know if you was talking about this pipe or something else ?

Yes Acki , there is no reduction or no more restriction , maybe the bandage gave you that impression , because i used some heat wrapped on it .

But thanks Acki for bringing that attention .
