i have buy at vmax a K26.5 / K24 turbo for C20LEt
yesterday i was running on the autobahn i take 1.4 bar and suddently a strange sound, and blue smoke !!
I have unfit my turbo, Compressor is broken, when i turn the exhaust turbine, the inlet don't turn . The axe is broken.*
The turbo has only 1000 kms !! No problem with oil pressure cause i have manometer on the turbo hose.
Is it warranted ?

Is the Turbineshaft realy broken ? Thats not normal, did you have disassembled the unit and got 2 pices of the Turbineshaft?? Or is "only" the screw on the Compressorwheel fly off and the compressor has contact with the compressor housing? Send the turbo back an we look what part has a failure and why.

Some wing of admission are broken !!
i don't disassembled the unit cause if the turbo is garanted i don't want cancel it ( normally 6 month )
the exhaust turbine has a big game (jeu en francais)
when i turn the exhaust wing the admission wing don't turn so the axe is broken ?
ok i send u back the turbo at what adress ?

I have fit original injectors cause i have order a FPR settable.
my spark was brown, i have test injectors only at iddle.

and eds make some thing hard to understand, like 330 bhp with standard injectors (open at 100% and run lean) ...

Maybe there´s something wrong with your fuel-system.
On our dyno printouts they all run under Lambda=0.8 on a phase 3.5 with 4.5Bar fuelpressure and standart injectors.
Please measure your fuelpressure under full load! It has to be 4.5Bar + boostpressure. If not, your fuelpump, tank, or electrical connections to your pump are bad.

And here is the reason why EDS doesn´t sell settable Fuelpressureregulators any longer: Customers play with them and than they try to tell us, that the software is bad. Sorry, but a phase3.5 never runs lean if the rest of the car is ok.

Send the turbo back and they will see, if running lean caused the problem.
When you try to drive with more boost than the software is written for, you car will also run lean and destroy the turbo. Please don´t play on the fuelpressureregulator and the wastegateactuator!

Send us the turbo back and we look whats the fault. If its because of a fault in production you get a new one back.

Auch immer wieder gern genommen: Neuen Lader einbauen, am besten noch nen Ölwechsel machen und den Filter nich voll machen! Motor einschalten, aus der Halle rausrollen und gib ihm! Ich denke min 75% der Laderschäden sind auf falsche Benutzung zurück zu führen..! :roll:

I see that you got the charger already in march, i think the turbine wheel and shaft is ok only the screw on the compressor wheel was lost. Because of that problem we changed the thread on it to left thread with stronger loctide. then the screw cant get lost ... only if the turbo spinns the reverse :)

I have wait a moment for have it ( 3 or 4 months )
I thinks it's a screw because the wing's compressor are broken !
