here in picture the working on my C20XE turbo :wink:
I have broke my C20LET (burn piston, vilebrequin dead, cylinder dead) We decide to make a C20XE turbo with steel conrods EDS, C20LET piston reworking on the head, with the C20LET cossie cylinderheat with the 20Xe cam

The C20LET piston who has burn :( we mesure it.


Cylinder number 4 is dead :oops:




Nozzle For cooling piston, they come from a porsche 930 turbo :wink:

The oil is directly taken at the level of the palliers of brace by a hole which I drilled in the groove of the small cushion



I have installed the EDS pump with EDS IC, 525cc MSD injectors, full exhaust 70mm with downpipe, forge double piston dump valve, oil radiator with inox hose, pipercross airbox, C20XE cam, upgraded cylinderhead, steel conrod, steel piston, eds alu flywheel, sachs 4 patins clutc, C4 power coil and 10 mm K1 Lead plug :D
will be run at 29 psi with k26.5/K24

Nice job, you will love it to drive a turbocharged engine... believe me ! But i think 26psi is to much boost, but we will see it.

i have already a c20LET with phase 3 and k26 before
but i have melt a piston
now 29 psi with a ratio of 8.2:1 all is steel inside :)
my car before melt piston has 270 bhp with only 0.7 bar

Ok, i haven't seen that you have all the engine internals in steel. This should works good. What for a car is it? Calibra? In this car you have only FWD or? Then you have a really good TopSpeed. Where do you come from? England? 270bhp with 0.7bar is really good, but then you have to much compression, or?

no before i run 0.7 bar cause i have stock injectors and stock fuel pump
now i have 525 cc and eds fuel pump
the car is an astra MK3 !

Astra MK3? When was it build? I think the Astra MK3 calls in german Kadett. Well, you runs a Turbocharged Engine with stock injectors? Fuel pump doesn't really matter, the stock one is powerful enough. But you need other injectors, that's right.

Do you fixed up your body (from the car)? When it's finished, put some pic's into this forum. I want to see how it looks like then. What for a rims size do you drive? Do you think about a Intercooler Nitrous kit? It works great, i'm working in a tunign shop, we tested the Intercooler kits, really good these things for turbocharged cars. You "inject" the nitrous in front of your intercooler, the air temp goes down to -89 degrees. Or what do you think about a water injection? I think it's great for turbocharged cars, because you don't need so much fuel, and the explosion in your cylinders won't be so hot.
