Lowering the Astra Coupe Turbo

Hello everybody,
Is here anybody who has the eibach lowering kit ?
How low does it go?
Or any other suggestions?
I want maximum stability and grip.

Last weekend we installed an EIBACH-Lowering kit in an Astra Coupe , it was Morten Priess here in the Forum from DK , just ask him if he is satisfied with the system !

The installation is easy , the price is OK !

Hello,

Actually I wanted to install the Steinmetz Lowering Kit (-30/-30)
Then i found out that the Steinmetz-parts are equal to the Eibach-parts! (They just write their name on it an make it more expensive )
Well, I installed the Eibach-Kit a week ago, and i must say that i´m very satisfied with it! Just a little less comfort, but the grip is extremely good!
I think Gringo (I hope) has installed the Steinmetz-Kit! Maybe he reads this and writes sth. or just ask him

Hi Frederick,

Like ASH mentioned, I had the EIBACH lowering kit installed last weekend. I'm extremely satisfied with it. Comfort has not suffered a lot - I think, but the grip and stability is great.

Especially with a bit of weight in the car, the difference is very clear. The car just sticks to the road at any speed. It looks good too - I think the level is just right, very harmonic.

Mine is -30/-30. I personally think -50/-50 is too much...

Yes, the lowering kit shows very harmonic, I have the H&R spring kit with 35/35----it's good too.

But you haven't only the lowering kit, what's about with your new phase 2 kit ???

Hi Andreas,

You were at EDS last weekend !? - I didn't see any other blue Coupés there ?. What did you drive ?.

The Phase II kit is really great !. The raw sound from 6 to 7.000 rpm reminds me of my old Honda Civic, and the power and throttle response - as you know - is fantastic at all speeds.

I have a few remarks and questions to you and other phase II drivers about some of my phase II driving experiences, so I'm starting a new thread in a minute or ten, and I hope you will take a few minutes to add your comments there.
