intercooler pipe sizes

i am in the process of fitting my evo6 intercooler, and i know some people here have fitted an evo intercooler. the outlets on the IC is about 61mm.

the question is do i run 61 mm pipes to the turbo and to the intake on the engine? or do i use a reducer to say 52mm? what is the best combination you have used? and it would also be of help if youu can give me details of silicon pipe angles and how many peices you used for your intercooler

My friend here in sweden had used 60MM pipes

hi scotten, i measured the diameter for the air intake and its about 47mm, i guess i could use a reducer, but what is the size for the turbo to intercooler, ie the bottom part of the turbo outlet?

ok so the metal pipes yuo have used, are they 60mm or are you talking about the rubber hoses?

can you tell me how many pipe you have used for the left hand side going into the engine? from what i can see u have used a reducer, a metal pipe, a 90 degree bend a metal pipe, how many other angled pipes have u used?

from what i can see here you have again used a reducer, a metal pipe a 90deg ? do you have some more detailed pics of the pipes inside going to the turbo?

hehe this is not my car
it is one of the opel club member in sweden
but my friend have a EVO6 IC and he has 60 mm aluminium pipes all the way from turbo to air intake
you can use alu pipes if you can bend them you self

I use in my car EDS IC
i mabe can find som more pictures to you
