iceland need help

i have 92 c 20 xe nonturbo non 4x4 110 kw with nitro i keep braking my gearbox and i need to now can in use gearbox from some ather opel ? im running out of calibra gearboxes no one here in iceland can tell me any thing and the opel dealer here wont talk to me because they did not import it pleeeeeeease help me

The F28 gearbox from the C20 LET is being used on many cars running 300+bhp - possibly an option with the 4wd to 2wd conversion

thanks for the tip i will try to get F28 i think i curtney is selling it with 2wd conversion only problem is it is gona cost 2times more when i get it to iceland but the real problem is that i have the only calibra here so spereparts are hard to find so i was thinking mabe i could use gearbox from some other type mabe vectra or some other 2,0 opel i dont have time to try them all to see if some fitt so if anyone have some information about that i would be graitful :mrgreen: p.s sorry 4 my english i learn from max power magazine

You can altso use the C20XE gearbox F20 to your engine
but it is only to the 2wd calibra

If you know someone that has a boat that travells Iceland-Norway I can maybe get a F28 with FWD conversion for you. Market price on this in Norway is 6.000NOK = ~750 euro incl. FWD conversion.
