thats cool, did u fit the power board/switch on yours? mine is faulty and ive just plugged the chip into the ecu, and now i found out according to arno that it only runs in low power mode if the switch board is not fitted.

switch?? I didn't get a switch with mine. As far as I know it was just the two chips, fpr and spark plugs in the kit. Richard Bell fitted it for me so he knows more about it than me. I'm using a boost controller in my car though, so maybe I don't need the switch. I hope it's not running in low power mode though.

I am 99% sure my rpm limit 7250.

I don't think so, although I will have to talk to Richard and ask him before I say for definite. As far as I know there were two chips, spark plugs and uprated FPR in the kit and that's it. Is the switch board an external switch for changing between high and low boost? Maybe I got one but it wasn't fitted because I can switch between high and low boost via the boost controller. :?

i was just talking to someone and this is the info i got

yes thats right. on the eds phase2 eds put 2 Data Files together in a row. in first place is the stock Data and behind that theres the tuning Data. The Chip on the switchboard .. a GAL switch the adresslines so that the ecu read into the data behind the stock.
Theres some free space behind the Stock date in the 32Kbyte Eprom.
