FAO ASH, rev limit held boost and overboost of phase 2

I have brought a phase 2 chipset and i need some solid info, so far im getting conflicting info on the rev limit, eds site quotes 7350 and regals literature quotes 7250 which is for phase 1?. also what is held and over boost?

on the literature it quotes power at 260ps and torque of 370nm, limit of 7250, 1 bar held 1.4 overboost thats phase 1 spec, not phase 2.....??????

at the end of the day i just want to make sure ive got a phase 2 chip and not a phase 1, i mean we are all humans and a simple sticker mistake can be easily made at time of writing the chips.

Please test the rev-limiter and tell me which RPM it is !

Normally i programm every chip here in germany , and we take care that no mismatch happens !

Also on the bottom chip there must be the same sticker as on the top chip, please compare !

The advertisement could be wrong !

i have tested the limit and its definately 7250.

so arno what is the situation? i have brought phase 2 chips, and im not getting much info or support from you? what is the definate rev limit on this p2 chip and what is the held and overboost figures?

also if the chip is plugged into the ecu with out the 2.2 powerswitch board will the chip run in low power or high power mode? my switch is not working, when i plug it in to the ecu the engine does not start up.

to be honest ive been dissapointed with the help i have recieved so far....i hope this problem can be rectified in a good way...

Hi !

some points :

1) If you have a problem with anything send us a short mail , you will get an awnser , i dont have the chance to look frequently into this forum !

2) Where do you get your chips from ?

3) Phase-1 REV limiter = 7350 RPM - Phase-2 REV limiter = 7250 RPM

The diffrence was made , because the phase-1 is driving a lower boost and is used mostly by corsa or kadett C customers with smaller wheels that they dont run into the rev limiter in the last gear !!

The specs in the descriptions are correct at the EDS HP !

If you want another REV-limiter , just tell me , i can programm you anything !
