fao ash phase 3.5 + k26 boost levels not a good combination?

ash i have been told and somone on this site mentioned the k26 turbo is no good for the phase 3.5 as it only gives max 1.3 overboost therefore it is more suited to a more power ful let.
is this true if not why is he getting these figures, ui want to purchase a k26 but dont want to waste around 900 quid if this is whats going to happen.

I was one one of the Ph3,5 users that had no overboost.
But the problem is fixed now. It was a bad connection between turbo and intercooler (lost of boost)
I now have (if i want) 2+ bar overboost

So the k26 is a good turbo to go for phase 3.5 and will produce 1.5 bar overboost no problem.
when does your k26 kick in, what revs do you feel it kicking in
