c20xe and c20let???

Hy!

Does anyone know if the c20xe cilinder head and the c20let are the same? :?:
I need a cilinder head for a c20let engine :roll: and Opel Portugal is trying to sale me a c20xe one, they say it's the same :shock:
I dont know what to do. :?

Hi,

both are the same! But don´t buy it at Opel!!! It´s to much expensive!!
There are 3 Versions of the Head: two with ending number 400 and one with ending number 700! The best choice is the Coscast Head with end-number 400 not the K+S !

I know tath they're very expensive at Opel, they asked me for 2.860,88€ plus tax (19%), somethink like £2.015 plus tax. Mutch more than i can spend .
My old head was a coscast .

I'm trying to find one :? for tree weeks now :roll: .

What's wrong with your old coscast head?
You should be able to find a used head for ca. £200.

Ever thought of repairing your old Head? This is a lot more cost-effective. There is a wide range of companies available who repair Heads. E.G: EDS, Vmax.... And i think nowadays the distance from Portugal to Germany shouldn't be the problem for DHL, TNT or else....

Olá! Pessoal.

I'm alredy doing some contacts, i've send pictures from my cylinder head to a spanish company and they say that it can't be repared :x .
It has tree cracks betwen the valves :?: beds :?: (i dont know the technic name), and due to casting process from coswhort it's impossible to repair.I've contacted DSOP to, they've gived me prices for rebuilt Ks and a knew turbo, but when i ask them how to pay and if they post, i've got no anwser. :roll: .
I'm gonna try ebay.

Sorry, but my oppinion is that KS is much better than Cossi! Every fast c20xe in our scene has the ks head, not the cossi.
