17'' in Astra Mk3

Having the possibility of putting some wheels from 17 '' on my Astra F (Mk3), what canal and off-set should the wheel have not to have problems to touch the mudguard?
What measure made of rubber should I put for the same reason?
I thought of 215/40 R17 with 8 X17 ET35 circle, he is maybe a too much? Thanks ...

You ideally want a 7/7.5 x 17'' with 205/40/17 at a et 40-48 offset.

Unfortunately here in Italy the wheels with ET40/48 do not sell ... something there is, branded Opel or Irmscher, but really bad and very expensive ... here ET35/37 is found ...
On your parts what does one find?
I know that the 1000miglia commercializes here in Italy of the wheels with ET35 and in England models with ET42 what here they are not ...

Hello, Yes I have 7.5x18 wheels on my Astra f (with C20LET)

I have the original hubs (4x100).
I got the wheels from a friend who drives the old model Laguna Break.
This car has also 4x100, only the center hole is a bit bigger. That you can overcome with a plastic or metal ring that you can find at your wheels dealer.

Most positive point on these wheels is the narrow piece where the wheel comes on the car.. I don't have to do anything on my wheel arches to get them in . As I have a height adjustable suspension I intent to go really low (w tires in wheelarches).

I still have to set the right height but when you give me your mail address I will send you some pics.. ;-)

But with the C20LET one is still able to put the original hubs?
I thought I was forced to put the ones of the Vectra Turbo (5 holes) because of his I attach but also to have the big brake disc.
The 2 hubs are compatible?
