Pressure activator keeps on "clicking" !!!!!!!!!

One of my friends is driving eds 3.5 in his kadett and now the pressure activator keeps on cliking !!!!!!
There is a delay in picking up boost and the car rumbles when accelerating ?
I have ordered a new pressure activator and installed it but the activator keeps on "clicking" !!!!!!
Does anyone experienced this before ??

Hi Duncan !

The clicking actuator valve is my acoustical diagnosing test :

1) lowest power switch position = clicking independent trottle position

2) highest power switch position = clicking only when 0% trottle position , no clicking at full throttle !

Its mostely the rubber connection pipe between turbo and AFMeter that is sucked together at an acceleration !

when u mean pressure valve u mean the amal valve located a few inches at the top of the air box? if so mine is clicking away too, and i have to hit it with a spanner to get it to work again cus i get noo boost if its not working.

If I get the above does this mean everything is working correctly? Boost controller, power wheel, amal valve etc etc.
