Phase I problem ...

Hi everybody,

I'm newbie in this forum, it's my first post ;o)

A garage fron Luxembourg has installed in my astra coupe turbo the an EDS-Phase I, and everything was fine during 2 weeks .... but one day, the engine contol led "orange one" start blinking !!!
and the engine power was very low .... security mode ....
I went to the garage the day after, but the problem disappear before (. the guy said that something wrong with some parameters, and need to send back the box to EDS !!! (15 days delay for comming back). Now, my astra still with the normal power ((( . I really don't undestand why they need to change some parameters into my box ??? it's a standard software no ???

anybody can clarify this ?

Welcome to this bulletin board.

It's the first problem I have heard.
Hmmm, the easierst way is to send an email to EDS...contact ASH first before you do anything....

Please give Feedback after you solved the problem...and post the reason why it happened...

Today we recieved your ECU , our software code was 360-526-e1

The software-version was a very old one , today we know more !

Tomorrow your ECU will go back to you with the actual software 360-526-e3!

In this software there are many changes to your old version !

Its much more powerful at 3000RPM and , of course , no" lamps"!

So you see , no delay of 15 days !

IF next time something like this happens , please come and visit us , its very near and take only 20min to change the programm !

Phase 1 Problem

Moin,

ich habe seit eben auch ein Problem mit der Phase 1. Ich habe die Kiste seit längerem mal wieder rangenommen und plötzlich ist die Motorkontrolleuchte angegangen. Wer kann mir dazu was sagen? Sowas muss natürlich immer vor einen Termin passieren. Die Kiste läuft bis jetzt noch normal. Die Frage ist in wie weit in das Notprogramm geschaltet wird.Das wäre auf der Autobahn besonders lustig. Für eine schnelle Antwort bin ich euch Dankbar.

Wichtig wäre, welche Software du drauf hast ????

Wenn es die Gleiche wie von francky ist, hast du mitunter selbiges Problem...dieses sollte mit aufspielen der aktuellen Phase 1 Software behoben sein....

Was meinst du ??? Wann wurde die Phase 1 aufgespielt ???

Seine Software wurde anfang Januar eingespielt. Allerdings gabs bis gestern wohl kein Problem damit.

Weis denn jemand, welcher Fehlercode angezeigt wird ?

der Datenstand ist wie genannt von Januar. Ich komme die Tage hoch und lass das schecken.Die Kiste läuft bis jetzt noch normal . Die Kontrolleuchte ist weiterhin an. Mal schauen, ich düsse heute nach Frankfurt. Dann weis ich auf jeden Fall was passiert. Überraschung!!

Hallo,

ich bin heil zurück aus Frankfurt. Die Kontrolleuchte ist mittlerweile aus. Ich komme in der nächsten Zeit auf jeden Fall das neue Update aufspielen lassen. Ansonsten läuft alles wie geschmiert. War anscheinend wirklich nur ein Fehlalarm.

Wie gesagt , wenn die Motorkontrolleuchte mal zwischendurch aktiviert wird , aber dann von alleine wieder ausgeht , dann war es nur eine Warnung !

Da hat die Motronik einen Sensor als fehlerhaft bewertet und aber später den Irrtum wieder bemerkt !

Wenn die OBD Lampe ( Fahrzeug mit Schlüssel ) aktiviert wird , ist iggendein abgasreleventes Bauteil betroffen !

Für alle Warnlampen gilt : Lampe an/aus aber Leistung voll da -> EGAL!

Wenn Lampe nicht mehr ausgeht -> Pech gehabt , ab zur Werkstatt , Fehlercode auslesen !
