no overboost (constant 1.1bar)

since installing phase 2 chip and fmic i have no overboost, when i accelerate full my spa guage just goes to 1.1 bar and holds. why am i not getting any overboost??? i have a new actuator and wastgate +bush and have checked for boost leaks but still the same
could someone plz help me cos this is really doing my head in

Please check all your hoses and connectrions from turbo to the inlet of your engine ! I almost know it for sure that this is your problem.

i've checked them all....there is nothing wrong with them

You haven't had a superchip on there by any chance have you?
Make sure all the boost control is as the factory intended it (amal valve and vacuum pipes all properly connected)
Another possibility is that you just need to adjust the boost up a little with the actuator - the overboost is controlled by the actuator setting, the held boost is controlled by the ecu.

nope never had a superchip, if i turn the actuator more it will boost to 1.2bar and hold, the more i turn it up the more it holds

Hmmm.
What kind of actuator have you got on there?
Uprated one? -5 or -6 maybe?

nah it's only a standard actuator

Are the two pipes coming from the turbo to the amal valve the correct way round ? If there the wrong way round the ammal valve does not have the ability to vary the boost pressure !! You can swap them over and give it a try and you'll see the difference either way. If it makes no difference then i'd try a different amal valve.

tried swapping the pipes, it just makes the car boost less and still no overboost
