MAP Sensor on phase kits

Quick question for ya!

Does the MAP sensor control boost only, or have u set it up to relate it to fuelling as well when under boost conditions?

Hi !

The signal of the map sensor is direktly controlling the boost , and also is the calculated injection timing dependent of the boost sensor level !

The Phase 3.5 TOP-Chip and the boost sensor are a apllikated team , all the lookup tables were set up propperly to the max. boost level !

I have another problem !

We are looking hardly for some BOSCH Motronik Bosst-MAP sensors , who is able to organize or sell us some ?

many of our Phase 3.5 exchange sensors never come back to us , the surcharge fee of 50 EUR seems to be TOOOO low for some customers !

http://www.farnell.com and http://www.rswww.com do various bosch pressure sensors.

Farnell do 20-300 kpa one (Bosch 0273 003 211) for £80.36 (£61.84 for 25+). Farnell code 711-9884. Not sure if thats the one you're after though.

Done have the RS catalogues here, but I guess they have a similar range.

the 2.5 bar type is 0273 003 210 (can be found easily on many european turbo cars if you look hard enough) :wink:

Farnell one a copy? Farnell and RS are electronics distributors, they distribute for Bosch amoung others.

But whichever is cheaper :lol:

Have spoken to Bosch this morning and the sensor they made has become obsolete (with no stock left at all)! However they have sold the rights for this sensor to other companies (IE Farnell) which apparently will work EXACTLY the same as the bosch Item.
Gonna give Farnell a call and see if i can get some trade discount on that as well!

So do you modify the old map sensors to read the increased pressure or do you replace them with 3 bar ones to start with
