Intercooler design on my nova

Help please, i am looking at having a custom intercooler made to fit in the bigmouth of my nova gsi front bumper but i have been told that if i have the airpipes coming at either side of my radiator like design c on this site, http://www.turboneticsinc.com/spearco/custfab.htm
that it would be inefficient? Is this true or not? I need to know asap as i am about to order one asap.

Personally I think it'd be ok, I mean the RS500 intercooler is similar in design except deeper and they're used on the 500+ bhp cars
