this is at "Vasco da Gama" Bridge here in Portugal
race is between me and my friend's CTR.

- CORSA:
LET on VMAX EVO310 but on lowboost and misfiring (water temp problems)

- CTR:
Tuned to over 260hp on TODA and SPOON stuff

hi mate
my friend dont talk too much about is engine and car specs
is a proper sreet racer and dont give all the "game"
but what i can see and find out is:

CTR spec:
- TODA N2 Engine kit
- Honda Kpro
- HONDATA
- Clutch kit
- TODA intake manifold
- Spoon N1 Exhaust
- Mugen intake
- Weight reduction... (no seats, bike bat, spoon brakes, wheels, etc...)

And its said that was tested in MAHA bench at 270hp.
True or false... dont know!

The weight on CTR i dont know.
But on that run, not even the co-driver seat he had on!

Mine is about 1000kg...

Apart from the temp. problem, i had the wastegate a bit loose... so that start is a bit slow!

Auch wenns net 100%ig stimmt...so gut bin ich auch wieder net weil ichs nie gelernt hab...Emfin kenn ich net...aber dann...dass ein Honda gegen einen Opel verliert. Ich hätte nie im Leben gedacht, dass es einen Corsa B Turbo in Portugal gibt. Ich plane eine Evo 310 für meinen.

Emfin=Endlich ,hab mich echt gefreut das es ein C20LET Corsa gibt,in Portugal sind die C20XE oder C20LET nicht so bekannt,erst das Astra G Coupe(Z20LET),hab schon mehrere Videos gesehen von diese 17km langen Brücke(Vasco da Gama)aber die opelz sehen immer schlecht aus gegen die Hondas,weiss auch nicht was die da machen das diese Type-R,s wie die pest abgehen,alle haben so 260-280ps :shock: ,Sauger wohlgemerkt :shock: :shock: ,also weiss nicht wie das geht,aber jetzt taucht plötzlich ein Böser Corsa B auf ,war übrigens mal ein C12NZ :twisted:

this CTR is one of the best and still NA
there is other but with compressor power at 300hp
didnt go with him yet...

this CTR on the movie
is from a known name "Meskita"... and it was grey before as you can see on this picture:

His car is upgrading some little stuff... after that we go at it again... mine is also getting the water temp resolved (thermo busted).

i dont think the car will be good for drifting...
did see allready some little rwd cars and i find them a bit difficult to handle and control the drift

Mini and Smart on bike engines for exemple.

I know it can't be a bmw but puting that hi power to front wheels causes some useless power
I think you can't drag from 0 you have to make rolling
because you can't give all your power to road in the begining

I don't say in bad way
say only what I think
I love rwd cars
if it doesnt drift, again no problem
i want it rwd

Got 2 facts to share...

First:
I talked with the owner about his CTR and he tells me he achieved 236hp at Rotronics dyno bench. I was amazed how much less power can be translated into that run you see on the movies.

Second:
Just a video on the same bridge, VDG ( Vasco Da Gama ) with that CTR, other one with similar mods, Fiat Coupe Turbo and EVO VI on simple mods... xip, exhaust and air filter:

This will be dificult to drive because of the torque curve and short wheelbase. On 6 cil atmo's it would be fine but when the boost kicks in you will have trouble to make it a smooth drift. On 1/4 miles I can see the benefits but on a circuit FWD would be faster...

It has been done before but it is expensive, also you will have trouble with the innerspace for the transmission tunnel. 4x4 really is best when you change the engine to north/south position like Tom Geenen's Rallycross Corsa 4x4 1.8 Turbo
