Our EDS- phase-3 kit is a close loop boost control system , the regulated boost is 1.15 BAR with the original KKK Calibra Turbo , this one , when fitted with a strong wastegate spring and when the waste-gate valve seat is OK , it can easily supply more than 1.3 bar boost up to 7000RPM , but only with a very high backpressure to the engine !
That means , that he can change the turbocharger to any more or less equal turboladersize that is abel to boost minimum the 1.15 bar + 0.3 bar for reserve , without changing the fuel pressure or installing the 5th injector !!

I also send Zacka the latest V3+ board version with lambda control , so that an engine underfulling damadge because of too less fuel pressure should be impossibel !

Another example : try to heat with a close loop 24° C regulated control system ,your living room at home with a 1000W heater !
- After some time you get 24° with ca. 70% heater power !
- Now exchange the 1000W to a 2000W heater !
- After some time you will get also 24° but with only 35% supply engergy !

With the turbocharger its the same , after getting the 1.15 Bar boost the boost control system will open the waste gate , and the boost pressure is stabilized !
Now clear ??
The Phase-3c chipset is a perfect setup with -4.5 base fuel pressure for 1.15 bar regulated boost up to 7500RPM , the maximum overboost of 1.5 bar at 3500RPM should not be overtaken !!!!
The boost will fall down linear , so that at 5000RPM the 1.15 bar boost are regulated !
But be carefull : The calibra turbo KKK-K16 ( K24 ) is designed with one of the most aggressive exhaust turbines of this series , also the compressor wheel is not one of the bad'est !
Any other turbocharger can effect your low RPM boost response , it can happen , that our car gets slow and tired below 5000RPM and then the hell is going forward ! Did you like that ???

Please try first , before you wanna spend much money into this projekt !

The only thing that you should do is replace the original GM conrod -bolts to high power types like ARP , or equal !
The most reason for bad engine damadges are broken conrod bolts , even at full not modified LET or XE engines , because the original conrod-skrew is at ALL Opel engines from X1.8XE up to X20XEV , C20XE , C20LET and Z20LET THE SAME PART !!!!!

At least , the best way to keep his engine alive , is to throw out and away the original GM fuel pump , and replace it with the following one :
BOSCH : 0580 254 909 225L/min at 5bar standart working pressure !
This big bastard pump is abel to keep the fuel cool with a high backflow to the tank !
