Good afternoon! Answer, please on a question about lowering Cali Turbo 4x4. Now on my car installed ammo Koni Spors, with stock Cali Turbo springs . I want to buy recommended to me Eibach springs with lowering 25 mm, whether will result it in problems with 4х4? Thanks!

You should buy a camber-kit from Dorfbrunnen Garage to adjust the camber on the rear axle. This will make your transfer box to last longer. With 25mm lowering (Eibach lowers 35mm!?) it shouldn't be a problem, but it's better to install a camber-kit to be sure than to change a transfer box later.

Please buy only Dorfbrunnen Garages camber-kit. I've seen other camber-kits but the quality is very poor compared to DGs camber-kit.

Thanks for the answer! At us in the country very few people is competent of this question, the Koni&Eibach dealer has answered, that in the catalogue at all fwd Calibra's lowering is more, and for Turbo only 25 mm. I shall look today a kit recommended you.

Hi,
I recently installed shorter springs (30mm) also with Koni sport. The grip is fantastic BUT the comfort is ... well ...there isn't any. The car tends to "take off" on uneven surfaces and "the landing" is violent, thus giving also a hard time to the chassis. I am investigating this and at the moment my intention is to revert back to the original springs.
If you intend to drive on a track, that's fine otherwise ...

hi califan - what setting have you got the koni's set at? I am guessing you have the top adjustable shock absorbers?

I fitted koni shocks & standard springs, but when i set the shock absorbers to firm i was bouncing up and down, hitting head on ceiling :oops: :shock:

when set to soft all is good

Has bought boost-controller Blitz SBC-id II, Blitz id-Meter, airflow controller A'pexi S-AFS II.it is necessary A'pexi ITC for setting ignition retard. will soon bring big front intercooler, results I shall write. ;)

The perfect setting of Koni adjustables are not at the hardest. You should try to set the Konis to absoulte firm and then turn 270 degrees to hard. Try that for a while. Actually, the main intension with adjustable Konis is to make them harder as the shock is more worn.

Why you buy all that japaneese electronics when you can buy Electromotive Tec3 ECU? :) Cost is 1700 euro and you can adjust your complete C20LET with a old laptop.
